Yoga Trek to Nepal is a pioneering yoga trekking in Annapurna region. Our yoga treks are carefully designed to offer a perfect balance between trekking, yoga, meditation, adventure, holistic nutrition, life coaching, and mindfulness. On this journey, amazing Yoga teacher, Life coach and NLP practitioner Mr. Suresh Kandangwa will lead the journey.

Descriptions about the Route,

Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) is one of the favourite trekking route in Nepal, making it one of the top ten trekking trails around the world. The Trek is a tremendous mix of outstanding views of mountains, traditional remote villages, paddy-fields and the dense bamboo forests.

The ABC trek starts from the beautiful city of Pokhara that leads to Tikkhedunga, Ulleri, Ghorepani and then towards the lush forests and narrow gorges overlooked by the mighty Hiunchuli and Machhapuchru. (Fishtail Mountain.)

This famous trail will introduce you to the Gurung and Magar cultures and their warm welcoming. Over here you can truly appreciate the simple and modest life style in the mountain villages, where you will also see the influence of Buddhism.

Throughout the way to ABC, various species of birds and wildlife can be seen and heard, whilst you enjoy the breath-taking views of the mountains of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchru. The ultimate goal of ABC trek is for you to be surrounded by some of the world’s highest and most beautiful mountains in the world and be completely encapsulated by the mountainous wonderland. You will definitely fall in love with this region and the journey.

The ABC trek also visits Poon Hill, where it gives you another amazing mountain views, beautiful sun rise for that picture perfect photo.

There are some potential challenges to reach the ABC altitude of 4130 meters, including rocky trails and an ascent of 3300 stone steps up to Ulleri and Tikkhedunga. Nevertheless, your efforts will pay off as you look over to the magnificent views of the mountains. As they say, the best view comes after the hardest climb.

 On the way returning to Pokhara we will stop at Jhinu where you can relax your tired muscles in the natural hot-spring. In overall it is an amazing journey.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu international Airport. (Please book your flight to Kathmandu arriving on this day)

Welcome to Kathmandu!
Actions: We will meet you at the airport and drive you to your B&B/hotel, and just relax for the rest of the day to recover from your long journey.
After you get some refreshment and rest in the hotel we shall have, later in the afternoon, a session of yoga, yogic breathing and mediation that is sure to make you refreshed and prepared for this trekking experience in the Annapurna region. We also take short spiritual training session how to discover your true purpose. Later in the afternoon there will be a pre-trip meeting with your trekking guide in B&B/hotel where you shall be provided with necessary information for the trekking and where you shall have the opportunity to clarify your queries regarding the trek with the guide. Our office representative will also brief you regarding our trek as well.

Day 2Cultural and Historical tours in Kathmandu.

Early- morning we practice first session of yoga and meditation follow by teaching of how your negative thoughts has been sabotaging you. After taking breakfast in B&B we have full day guided sightseeing tours to the Buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage sites and other ancient heritages in Kathmandu
Tourist attractions: Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swaymbhunath and Patan Durbar Square, cultural and historical sights of the Kathmandu Valley.
The sightseeing shall include excursion probably to Pattan Lalitpur, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath and Pashupatinath Temple besides the other heritages, thereby creating a combination Hinduism and Buddhism in this sightseeing. While the Pashupatinath Temple, home of the supreme Lord Shiva and located on the bank of holy Bagmati River represents the faith of Hindus all over the world, the stupas of Swayambhunath and Boudhanath are epitome of Buddhism in this nation which is the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as monkey temple due to the holy monkey living in the north-west part of the temple, is a 14th century stupa and one of the oldest and largest stupas in Nepal. Finish the day with another session of Yoga and meditation in the evening.

Day 3Kathmandu to Pokhara By Bus.

Today, after an early morning session of the yoga and meditation, our team will come to pick you up and transfer to the tourist bus station for your day drive to city of Pokhara through the scenic countryside. During this journey we drive past the scenic landscape, waterfalls and river, rural settlements and twisting road overlooked by the majestic Himalayas far away before reaching the beautiful city of Pokhara. On your arrival in Pokhara bus station, our hotel representative of Pokhara will pick you up and transfer to the hotel. After refreshment in the hotel we will take you to the walking tour around the amazing Phewa Lake. The surrounding area of Lakeside blends in the influence of modern lifestyle with the preservation of local culture and heritages. After side seeing the beautiful city of Pokhara you shall stay overnight at the hotel in Pokhara and have the second session of yoga, meditation and yogic breathing before calling it a day.
Note: You can also fly to Pokhara on a flight of around 35min on extra cost

Day 4From Phokhara to Nayapul by bus (2hrs Approx.) then trek to Tikhedunga.

Early- morning we practice first session of yoga and meditation and learn how your beliefs and Ego are Created. After taking breakfast we get ready for the first day of trekking. We drive to the starting point of Nayapul from Pokhara and it takes about 2 hrs the distance is approximately 45 km. During the jorney you will pass through some village with great scenery form Naudanda, Kanre, and Lumle before reaching the small settlement of Nayapul. From Nayapul the real trekking adventure begins the distination for the day is Tikhedhunga. The route follows the Modi River upstream to Birethanti, a village situated at the confluence of Modi River and Bhurungdi River. Further on the trail we follow the eastern bank of Bhurungdi Khola and reach to the settlement of Tikhedhunga after a trek of couple of hours with scenery of waterfall, high green forest. Lunch will be served somewhere on the way at the tea houses before we reach to Tikhedhunga. In the evening we shall do the first light yoga, meditation and yogic breathing session in the trekking region. Duration of walking: 3-4hrs Approx.
Elevation reached: 1540m.
Terrain: Easy route, Gentle inclines, well defined paths, riverbank trails.
Views on offer: The towering, snow-capped Annapurna range.
Highlights: Tasting the sweet, local oranges, walking alongside the Bhurungdi Khola.
Things to see: Traditional villages, orange groves and rice fields.

Day 5Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani

After a life transforming Spiritual training and a light Yoga practice we take breakfast in the teahouse and head up to the Ghorepani,. The trek shall begin with the steep trek through the stone paved staircase before we reach Ulleri after trekking for couple of hours with several breaks in between to catch our breath. Ulleri is famous for the wonderful view of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre and Hiuchuli Mountain besides the beautiful greenery and lush hills and valleys. After passing through the villages of Banthati and Nangethati we shall reach the Ghorepani village inhabited in majority by the Magar community. This village provides excellent view of Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri and other sibling peaks besides the well preserved Magar culture. In the evening we shall do a spiritual training and mediation before we go on bed.
Hours walking: 6-7hrs Approx.
Elevation reached: 2810m
Terrain: Moderate trek, Stone staircase, steep inclines, Uphill.
Mountain Views: Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain), Gandharba Chuli and Annapurana II and III.
Highlights: Conquering the 3300 steps to Ulleri to enjoy magnificent views.
Accommodation: Teahouse.

Day 6 Ghorepani to Poon Hill and Tadhapani.

When you are at Ghorepani, it is absolutely must for you to reach the celebrated viewpoint of Poonhill and watch the marvellous sunrise over the Himalayas. Whether lit by moonlight or pitch black condition, we shall begin our trek before dawn equipped with torch lights and cameras and walk for around 45 minutes to reach Poonhill. It provides magnificent view of sunrise over stunning Himalayas including Annapurna massifs, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail Mountain, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and many other peaks. We will do a session of yoga and meditation on the top of the Poon Hill, After that we shall now descent and head towards lush Tadapani village. Traversing through the forest that is home to above 15 varieties of rhododendron besides the pine and bamboo trees, we shall also witness the langur monkeys swinging from one tree to the other. Climbing on a steep trail to the hilltop called Deurali, we shall then trek down through bamboo and rhododendron forest and reach to Tadapani after a climb for final half an hour.
Hours of walking: 5-6hrs Approx.
Elevation reached: 3210m at Poon Hill and 2700 at Tadhapani.
Terrain: Moderate route which has Steep, hilly descents and jungle paths.
Mountain Views: Panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Highlights: Reaching the top of Poon Hill for amazing, panoramic views.
Things to see: Poon Hill sun raise,The village of Durali and lots of langur monkeys.
Accommodation: Teahouse.

Day 7Tadhapani to Chomrong

The regular session of yoga, meditation and yogic breathing starts at the early morning. After taking a breakfast in the teahouse we take a session how to achieve your goal.
The trek starts from Tadapani; this section of the trail has little ups and downs throughout the day. We shall travel through the beautiful forest with rhododendron and other flora and faunas, walk along the green ridge to reach a small village of Chule. After having beautiful view of Kimrong River from here, we descent steeply to the Komrong village and further on to the riverbed of the Kimrong River through terraced fields and green landscape surrounded by cascading hills. After this steep descent to the river, we shall now have a steep ascend out of the valley on a steep path to the Taulung village ahead which the trail meets other trail from Jhinu Danda before turning towards Chomrong village. Chomrong provides beautiful view of the Annapurna South towering above the village and the Fishtail Mountain across the valley.
Duration of walking: 4-5hrs Approx.
Elevation reached: 2170m.
Terrain: Moderate route which has steep descents, forest trails.
Mountain Views: Mt. Machhapuchhre and Mt. Annapurna South.
Highlights: The warm welcome of the Gurung people in the traditional villages.
Thing to see: Beautiful terrain, Farmland and local Gurung villages.
Accommodation: Teahouse.

Day 8Chomrong to Himalaya

Early- morning we practice first session of yoga and meditation and get ready for the first day of trekking. After we take a breakfast in we shall learn a session about how to empower yourself. We then start trekking for the day:From the end of this beautiful village of Chomrong we start our trek with a long descent via 2500 stone steps to the riverbed of Chomrong River and across the river we climb to Sinuwa village via few smaller settlements after exploring the forest of oak, rhododendron and bamboo. We eventully reach at Kuldighar which has helicopter base used generally for medical emergencies in the region. Continuing our trek on the rocky path, we shall again have a long and steep stone staircase before reaching Himalaya.
Duration of walking: 4-6hrs Approx.
Elevation reached: 2580.
Terrain: Moderate route which has steep descents, dirt and forest tracks.
Mountain Views: The Annapurna range.
Highlights: Crossing the Chomrong Khola on the remarkable suspension bridge.
Things to see: Rhododendron and walnut trees, wild bamboo.
Accommodation: Teahouse.

Day 9Himalaya to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC)

We shall today have Machhapuchhre Base Camp as the destination which is one of the most scenic sites in the region. With the beautiful view of the unique Fishtail Mountain
The regular session of yoga, meditation and yogic breathing starts at the early morning. After taking a breakfast in the teahouse we shall learn a spiritual session how to change Negative Emotions in Genius.
We then begin our trek through the trail high above the river surrounded by bamboo forest and gradually ascent through dense forest, crossing over several smaller streams. Travelling further along the trail we pass huge boulders and rocks and ascent through riverbed to reach the village of Deurali for our lunch. Climbing ahead to the mountainside past steep ravine we continue our trek. Progressing through the rocky trail we have to trek carefully at several places which are prone to avalanches. Follow the path to the river and then the narrow trails which shall take you through increasingly rocky and bit narrower paths with some sections prone to avalanches, glimpses of Hiuchuli and Machhapuchhre and more ravines before reaching to the almost non-existing Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Enjoy the sunset where this unique peak is painted by setting sun and get relaxed with the view.
Duration of walking: 5-6hrs Approx.
Elevation reached: 3700m.
Terrain: Moderate Route which has gentle descents followed by some steep ascents, stone steps and rocky paths.
Mountain Views: Machhapuchhre and many snow-capped peaks.
Highlights: Reaching MBC and enjoying the amazing views.
Things to see: Beautiful trail and Lophorous birds, the national bird of Nepal.
Accommodation: Teahouse.

Day 10MBC to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).

The ultimate destination is waiting for us today! In this climax day, the beginning is decorated with the glorious view of sunrise over the Fishtail Mountain.
Early- morning we practice first session of yoga and meditation and Identify the root cause of your anger, Fear and Depression.
After the morning breakfast we head up to our ultimate final destination, The trek shall precede ahead trough a trail with rocks, ice and grassy path which increases the chance of slipping. Carefully we move ahead through relatively easy and steady plod that opens up gradually as we inch closer to the heart of the sanctuary. We trek away from the valley of Modi River far below the trail and turn to the base of Annapurna peak, through a trail surrounded by glaciers and neighboring hills and paved with glacial moraines. After a trek of around 3 hours, we reach to the final destination of this trek, the Annapurna Base Camp. With the awe-inspiring mountains such as Annapurna I and III, Machhapuchhre Mountain, Hiuchuli Peak, Annapurna South, Annapurna Fang and Gaganpurna peaks encircling us, we shall observe the grandeur of these peaks from proximity. Have a leisurely walk around the scenic landscape where prayer flags and memorials enhance the majesty of this place. Stay overnight in ABC looking over the majestic glacier and breathtaking sunset over these glittering peaks.

Elevation reached: 4110m.
Terrain: Steep inclines, rocky tracks, there may be snow depending on the time of year.
Mountain Views: Once you reach ABC, you will be encapsulated by high mountains as far as the eye can see.

Things to see: Mt. Annapurna I II III, Mt Machapuchru and the Annapurna Glacier.

Day 11ABC to Bamboo

The regular session of yoga, meditation and yogic breathing starts at the early morning and learn how to attract your soul mate
Today we shall leave the heart of Annapurna sanctuary and the landscape with 360 degrees of panoramic views of some of the tallest and most beautiful peaks in the world after a breathtaking sunrise over these lofty peaks.
After breakfast we shall retrace our steps back on the same route that led us to here after taking enough pictures of this beautiful display of natural wonder in the form of sunrise. Through glacial moraines we join the trail to the valleys formed by Muddy River across several small glacial streams, and gradually trek past several shepherd huts, huge boulders, trail section marked with landslides and avalanche tracks, and the greenery of forests with bamboo, oak and other vegetations. After lunch in Deurali we shall trek down past Hiku cave, Himalaya hotel to reach Bamboo.
Duration of walking: 5-6hrs Approx.
Elevation reached: 2340m.
Terrain: Moderate Trek, steep descents, rocky tracks, forest and riverbank trails.
Mountain Views: The Annapurna Range and many more mountains.
Highlights: Watching the sunrise bathe the Annapurna sanctuary before we begin our descent.
Things to see: The Annapurna glacier and the Modi Khola River as you descend.

Day 12Bamboo to Jhinu

Early- morning we practice a session of yoga and meditation and discover the Secret to Unconditional Love and Intimacy
Today the trek from Bamboo to Jhinu has many sections of ups. Beginning with the descent to Bamboo through forested trail, you shall be ascending to Kuldighar and descend back through orchid and ferns to Chomrong village past small settlements of Sinuwa, Bhanuwa and others. After some refreshments at Chomrong, we shall have a short ascent before descending to Jhinu. We trek straight in the trail or through gradual winding trails and then through steep section for almost an hour, to reach the settlement of Jhinu Danda. We trek to the natural hot water springs below by the Modi River to relax your tired muscle after a long trekking in the Annapurna Region.
Hours of Walking: 5.5.
Elevation reached: 1780m.
Terrain: Easy to difficult route which has a hilly ascent to Sinuwa then well defined tracks, descending to Jhinu.
Views on offer: The River Valley and High Mountain peaks in the distance.
Highlights: Relax bathing in the natural hot springs at Jhinu.
Things to see: Natural hot springs, Chomrong Khola, thick forests, and the village of Chomrong Accommodation: Teahouse.

Day 13Jhinu to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.

Today we shall have the last day in this trail with physical trekking. The regular session of yoga, meditation and yogic breathing starts at the early morning and learn how to Create Wealth doing what you love.
After breakfast we shall lave Jhinu and descend via New Bridge, past waterfall and green landscapes to Landruk. From here we shall follow the downhill path to the Modi River and climb back to the trail from Ghandruk meeting near Purgiyu. We then descend to Syauli Bajar through trails with tracks of landslide, some stone staircase and flat sections, and several small settlements. Ahead from Syauli Bajar we shall enter into easier terrains through smaller settlements to reach Birethanti near the Modi River and then reach to Nayapul. From Nayapul we shall have a drive of couple of hours to reach Pokhara.
Duration of walking: 6-7hrs Approx. (1.5 hour drive to Pokhara.)
Elevation reached: 1070m at Nayapul and 850m at Pokhara.
Terrain: Gentle descents, riverbank trails.
Highlights: final day of walking in the Annapurna region, Congratulations on completing your trek. Time for celebration in Phokhara.
Accommodation: Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 14Drive back to Kathmandu.

Well, after wonderful time in the Nepal Himalaya and short rest in Pokhara, today you have day drive through scenic countryside to Kathmandu in the route that never fails to attract the attention of the travelers. After breakfast and a quick session of yoga and meditation and learn How to create a Vision that Motivates you. you will be picked up from hotel and transfer to the bus station according to given time. Once you arrive in Kathmandu bus station you will be receive from our office representative and take you to the B&B/Hotel. After engaging ourselves in some activities during the day, the evening shall have time to visit Thamel and have a final firewall dinner.

Day 15Departure form Kathmandu (Goodbye and farewell from Nepal! Hopping to see you again)
